Curriculum
Man's Plan is to Medicate, God's Plan is to Educate!
This course is designed to provide you with a thorough understanding of what constitutes true gospel-missionary health restoration work. IOH's program is multifaceted with curriculum's for Traditional Naturopath, Missionary Health Restoration Practitioner, Herbalist, Nutrition, and RBTI. It trains students to be knowledgeable in a variety of lines of Christian service. It provides the opportunity for students to learn about God's Natural Laws of Health (Ten Doctors). These Ten Doctors are simple and mild upon the human constitution but powerfully effective in restoring Optimal Health. These principles preserve the wealth of health, provide the answer to human woe and suffering, while improving the quality of physical, mental and spiritual life. With an emphasis on education rather than medication, students will learn methods of true health evangelism and how to employ it as an entering wedge to win souls to Jesus Christ. Furthermore, students will be taught how to live what they teach and preach by understanding and living righteousness by faith. Educating self and others is a primary goal to enhance physical, mental and spiritual health. Ultimately, the course provides a deeper understanding of the Greatest Health Book ever written-the Bible. Subjects that will be studied include:

THE REAMS BIOLOGICAL THEORY OF IONIZATION*
The Institute of Original Healing teaches the Biological Theory of Ionization by Dr. Cary Reams. Dr. Cary Reams was a chemist, a mathematician and a biophysicist. He dealt with chemicals with the expert ease of a skilled mechanic using his tools. Dr. Reams was a man of great faith and believed that God lead him to his Biological Theory of Ionization (RTBI), which has helped hundreds of thousands of people since he introduced it to the people.
The RTBI analysis is God’s way to achieve optimal health by identifying areas out of balance and bring the body’s chemistry back into a condition where the body can heal itself. The RTBI works well on all people whose body chemistry will receive or respond to diet/nutrition. There are less than 1 percent of all people who are placed on a diet whose body will not respond. There are two reasons that we know of, why the body chemistry will not respond to diet. One is a brain tumor in the left quadrant of the brain. The other is irreparable damage to the main vagus nerve (the vital nerve that carries the message from the brain to the vital organs). Which supplies the total daily nutrients (TDN) needed to maintain the maximum amount of reserve energy.
In healthy bodies, worn out cells will be discarded by the elimination system. When the body does not work well, these worn out cells tend to collect in the weakest part of the body. This causes pain in that part of the body such as the knees, joints or muscles. When this pain is suppressed, as in allopathic medicine, symptoms are being addressed and not the cause. In the RBTI we work on the CAUSE and secondarily address the effect or symptoms. The effect is the result of a cause, and the cause is PRIMARILY the result of a mineral deficiency. Therefore, we can conclude that mineral deficiencies play a major role in all diseases, which may be expressed, in the RBTI mathematical equation. The Reams equation is as follows. Any one in PERFECT HEALTH would have the following numbers:
Sugars pH (urine) salts Cell debris Ureas
1.5 6.40 6 -7 .04M 3
6.40 3
pH (saliva)
These numbers indicate that a person’s immune system is at maximum strength, and there are no symptoms or presence of any disease. Cells are not wearing out to fast, as there is no mineral deficiency of any kind. This is absolute perfect health.
The IOH course of study will equip the student with an in depth understanding of these numbers, how they are derived, and the steps used in developing a lifestyle program for each individual in rebuilding their immune system and balance the internal terrain .
Core Course work must be completed before becoming eligible to take the Reams Basic Training.
* Required on Campus lab.

RBTI Explanation
What is RBTI?**
RBTI is the abbreviated term for Reams Biological Theory of Ionization. RBTI is a working
explanation about the fundamental ionic energy composition and function of biological life.
This theory was discovered, developed and proven through the unique work of agronomist,
biochemist and mathematician, Dr. Carey A. Reams, beginning in the 1930's
What is RBTI testing?**
RBTI testing is a non-invasive seven part test completed on fresh samples of urine and saliva.
There are six tests done on the urine sample: total carbohydrate, pH, conductivity, cell debris,
nitrate nitrogen & ammonia nitrogen. There is one test done on the saliva sample, which is pH.
Why is the RBTI analysis so valuable?**
It is true real-time mathematical analysis of what is taking place within the electro-biochemical structure of the human body. It reveals the intricate cause and effect of the physiological dysfunctional patterns demonstrated through the urine and saliva analysis. The individual, being analyzed, may or may not be aware of the dysfunction. More importantly, the RBTI analysis will reveal a perfect life-style program each individual must follow to reverse the dysfunction patterns that RBTI has disclosed
For example, the analysis reveals:
1.How much water to consume, when and why
2.What juices, teas and herbs to use and which to avoid when and why
3.What foods to use along with how they are to be prepared, when and why
4.What foods to eliminate or avoid, when and why
5.What type of mineral supplements to use and which to avoid, when and why
Is RBTI used to treat illness?**
RBTI is not for diagnosing or treating medical illness - you may consult a licensed medical doctor for that. The purpose of RBTI is to analyze and identify previously unrecognized electro-biochemical dysfunctions taking place within the human body, thereby allowing the creation of a perfect set of personal life-style recommendations that will address and reverse those unrecognized dysfunctional patterns. RBTI, when correctly applied, offers the highest potential for perfect health.

Naturopaths consider the whole person thus integrating the following practices/knowledge within its program for safe and natural means of determining the unhealthy condition of the Inner Terrain.
It is the unhealthy condition and/or out of balance of the Inner Terrain, as coined by Gunther Enderlein that is the beginning stage of disease. Today, inner terrain is known as homeostasis. The primary cause for disease is when the inner terrain becomes unbalanced. The secondary application is the resulting symptom(s), i.e. diabetes, heart disease, etc.
The truly knowledgeable and skilled Naturopath understands this concept and treats the symptom(s), while at the same time treating the root cause and re-balancing the inner terrain* achieving homeostasis-healing and health.
In the case of sickness:
The understanding of the “right conditions in the system” and how to “reestablish it” set you apart from other health care disciplines.

- Wrong habits corrected,
- THEN nature is to be assisted in her effort to expel impurities, and
- Reestablish right conditions in the system* (inner terrain/homeostasis).
